Solar Energy

In simple terms, solar panels capture the sun's energy and convert it into electricity, which can be used to run household appliances and lighting - at a reduced cost. 

Solar panel systems don't need direct sunlight to work; some electricity can still be generated on a cloudy day. 

Sunlight is free! So once you have your solar system installed, you will notice that your electricity bills will be much cheaper. 

Another benefit is that you will be cutting your carbon footprint.  Solar electricity is a green and renewable energy.  A typical home solar system could save you over a tonne of carbon dioxide per year, which is great news for our planet as well as your pocket!


Maintenance

Once installed, Solar PV needs very little maintenance – you'll just need to keep the panels relatively clean and ensure that trees don't obscure the panels.

Solar panels may have a life expectancy of 25 years or more, but with minimum maintenance costs, solar energy represents great value for money.
