Landlord Gas Safety Inspections

Gas Safety Inspections & Certificates

If you are buying new gas appliances for your home you need to be aware that only a Gas Safe registered engineer can install them.  Also, once a gas appliance has been installed it can only be notified by a Gas Safe registered engineer. 

Amber Plumber's Gas Safety registered engineers will be able to provide gas safety inspections at your property.  Just call 020 8395 5555 to arrange for one of our engineers to visit your property.  After the inspection, we will provide you with a printed inspection report which is valid for one year. 

At your request, we can also service and repair your gas appliances during the same visit. 


Landlords

Landlords are responsible by law to ensure that all gas appliances (such as cookers, boilers and gas fires) are checked routinely to ensure that they are safe for use. 

Gas safety inspections are a legal requirement for any gas appliances within rented properties and they must be carried out strictly on an annual basis. 

Just call the Amber Group on 0208 395 5555 to arrange for one of our engineers to inspect your property and to issue you with a hard copy of a Landlord Gas Safety certificate.  If required, we will also remind you on a yearly basis when the time comes for renewal of the Certificate, so that you can be sure you won't forget to comply with this important safety law designed to protect your tenants and their visitors whilst on your property. 

From 1st October 2015, fire alarms and monoxide detectors will be fitted in line with regulations.  If you require an alarm or a detector fitted before this date, please ask.
